#1 Commission percentage: Basic commissions typically range from 15% -20%, paying more commissions for more priority.

# 2 Room rate: Same star class in the same area, destination with low price of hotel will be displayed above priority by OTA.

# 3 Cancellation rate: Spending money on marketing campaigns, advertising costs a lot of money to sell many single rooms, but customers who book then cancel. How can you reduce the cancellation rate?

# 4 Number of bookings per day: OTA will calculate the ranking of the hotel per day based on many factors of which the most important is the number of rooms sold per day. Therefore, hotels who want to be given priority to show or outperform its competitors must ensure the number of rooms sold more, as much as possible.

#5 Review score: Hotels with excenlent service quality will be given priority to pre-sell those that receive worse scores from guests who booked and stayed, which doesn’t require much explanation.

#6 Extra service incentives: Upgrading to a higher room for free, free airport shuttle, free afternoon tea, ... all additional incentives will give the hotel priority display.

#7 Promotions: hot deals do not overlap and must be reasonable based on the following factors: hotel occupancy, competitor prices, events of the destination and flexible cancellation policy

#8 Conversion rateThe more visitors click to see the hotel, the more booking, the OTA will prioritize to push the hotel onto the first page.

#9 Branding: Hotel branding is crucial for guests to choose to book. OTA prioritizes displaying major and prestigious brands in the world.

#10 Location: Central location near shopping malls, museums, business area or hotel with private beach is a prerequisite for the value of a hotel, as well as an important factor affecting the decision of guests to book.
